Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, August, 2025 – ProcMart, one of India’s leading B2B marketplaces for indirect procurement, has announced the appointment of Ashutosh Dhar as Chief Business Officer (CBO). Ashutosh brings a deep understanding of the end-to-end supply chain ecosystem, having held leadership roles across globally renowned organisations. As CBO at ProcMart, he will focus on crafting and executing a robust business expansion roadmap—unlocking new revenue channels, expanding key collaborations, and deepening the brand’s presence across key sectors and markets, including Southeast Asia. His responsibilities also include mentoring high-performing teams across business development, sales, and client management while enabling seamless, enterprise-grade procurement experiences.

Speaking about the appointment, Anish Popli, Founder & CEO of ProcMart, said, “Ashutosh’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment as we scale our expansion and innovation efforts to redefine enterprise procurement. The industry is undergoing a fundamental shift—driven by the need for agile, transparent, and tech-enabled solutions—and ProcMart is committed to leading that change. Ashutosh brings with him a stellar track record of driving large-scale supply chain transformations, leading high-impact teams, and unlocking operational efficiencies. His deep industry insight and execution excellence align seamlessly with our vision of becoming the most trusted procurement partner for enterprises globally.”

Commenting on his appointment, Ashutosh Dhar, Chief Business Officer of ProcMart, shared, “Joining ProcMart at this exciting juncture offers a rare opportunity to be part of a company that is not just evolving with the times but actively shaping the future of procurement. My focus will be on building agile systems, fostering innovation, and driving results that go beyond efficiency, towards true business impact. ProcMart’s strong foundation, tech-first mindset, and commitment to solving real procurement challenges align with my belief in purpose-led growth. I look forward to collaborating with the team to amplify our market presence, enhance stakeholder value, and set new standards in procurement excellence.”

Prior to joining ProcMart, Ashutosh held senior leadership roles at ITC Limited, Nokia, Accenture Strategy, and Becton Dickinson (BD) as Director of Supply Chain & Distribution Management for India and South Asia. At Becton, he led initiatives focused on digital innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth, achieving a 20% improvement in On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) deliveries, reducing costs by over $1 million annually, and overseeing a major ERP transformation.

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi, Ashutosh holds an MBA in Marketing and Trade, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. His robust academic background, combined with a track record of steering high-growth, cross-functional teams, positions him well to lead ProcMart’s next phase of business evolution.

As ProcMart enters a new phase of regional and global growth, Ashutosh’s leadership will be translating vision into execution, integrating people, processes, and technology to scale impact. His focus on transformation-led growth and client-centric innovation will further reinforce ProcMart’s commitment to building a future-ready procurement ecosystem.
