Abu Dhabi,United Arab Emirates, February 2026 —Ashwini Pavithran has taken on the role of Global Head of Talent Acquisition – Corporate Functions at Siemens Energy, marking a significant milestone in her global talent leadership journey within the organization.
In her new global mandate, Ashwini will lead talent acquisition strategy for Corporate Functions worldwide, building on her extensive regional experience and strengthening Siemens Energy’s global hiring framework to support business transformation and sustainable growth.
Prior to this appointment, Ashwini served as Regional Head of Talent Acquisition – Asia, Middle East & Africa at Siemens Energy, where she led large-scale talent strategies across diverse markets. Earlier, she held the position of Regional Head of Talent Acquisition – Middle East and Africa, playing a pivotal role in driving recruitment excellence and workforce expansion across the region.
Before transitioning to Siemens Energy, she held leadership roles at Siemens, including Head of Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Manager – Middle East, where she contributed to strengthening talent pipelines and executing strategic hiring initiatives aligned with the company’s electrification and digital transformation agenda.
Ashwini’s earlier experience includes serving as Recruitment Manager – MEA at McGraw-Hill Education, Talent Acquisition Lead at First Gulf Bank, and Talent Acquisition Lead at Johnson Controls, where she managed end-to-end recruitment operations across multiple GCC markets. She began her HR career at Patni Computer Systems Ltd, handling niche IT recruitment and large-scale campus hiring initiatives.
With over two decades of global and regional talent acquisition leadership experience, Ashwini’s appointment reflects Siemens Energy’s continued focus on strengthening its global people capabilities to power the energy transition.
