Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, August 2025 – Ashwini Pednekar has been promoted to Vice President – People & Culture at Mortgage Connect, LP. In this elevated role, she will provide strategic leadership across HR functions, shaping people policies, culture, and organizational development to drive growth and employee engagement for the company.
Pednekar has been with Mortgage Connect, LP for more than four years. Most recently, she served as Director of People & Culture, where she was instrumental in building people processes, leading organizational development initiatives, and strengthening employee experience. She also previously worked as Director of Employee Experience and Senior HR Business Partner, where she drove HR strategy and led performance management, conflict resolution, policy development, and succession planning.
Before joining Mortgage Connect, Pednekar served as Director of Human Resources at Pittsburgh Career Institute (PCI) for two years, where she managed organizational development, policy creation, and talent strategy. Earlier, she gained experience at Community Options, Inc., serving as Coordinator of Program Services, where she focused on onboarding, workplace processes, and employee development.
Her career also includes roles as Talent Scout in Pittsburgh, University Recruiter at Google India, and Recruiter at Kelly, where she developed her expertise in recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations. Across these roles, she has built strong expertise in talent management, people processes, organizational development, and HR business partnering.
