Hyderabad, Telangana, India, January 2026 — Sigachi Industries Limited has announced the appointment of Atul Dhavle as Chief People Officer, entrusting him with the mandate of leading the company’s people and organizational strategy as Sigachi accelerates its growth across pharmaceutical, nutrition, and operations domains. In this role, he will work closely with the Board and senior leadership to align human capital strategy with long-term business priorities, strengthen leadership capability, advance organizational design, and build a resilient, people-centric culture across markets and manufacturing operations.
Atul Dhavle joins Sigachi Industries after spending nearly two years as Chief Human Resources Officer at Granules India Limited, where he partnered with the Board and leadership team to design and deploy enterprise-wide HR strategy, build top leadership teams, institutionalize performance management systems for critical roles, and establish learning academies that strengthened manufacturing and quality capabilities across plants.
Prior to this, he served for close to two years as Senior Vice President – HR at Bharat Forge Limited, where he led enterprise performance management transformation, cascaded BU scorecards, strengthened variable pay and merit frameworks, connected business strategy with organization design through structured talent review processes, and led CEO and CXO talent acquisition for multiple group businesses.
He spent over seven years at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories as Vice President – HR, TOC and Operational Excellence, leading company-wide operational excellence programs across fourteen manufacturing sites, piloting lean laboratories, strengthening industrial engineering capabilities, accelerating turnaround time improvements across manufacturing and R&D, and establishing full-scale technical training centers and learning systems.
Earlier, he served as Senior Vice President and Head – Human Resources at Welspun Group (Welspun Corp), where he led global HR operations across India, Saudi Arabia and the United States, strengthened leadership hiring programs, and built global campus hiring pipelines.
He also held long-tenured leadership roles at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories for over a decade as Senior Director – Human Resources, where he led R&D HR, BRICS sales and marketing HR, field force design, incentive frameworks, employee engagement models, mergers integration, and global HR policy frameworks. He began his HR leadership career with DuPont and Mahindra Group, building strong foundations in manufacturing HR, learning systems, and workforce development.
