Gurugram, Haryana, India, September 2024 – Atul Goyal has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at VCL Group, where he will be leading the human resources function for the group. Atul will focus on HR strategies, organizational development, and driving employee engagement to align with the company’s growth objectives. He brings over 18 years of experience in HR across various industries including infrastructure, energy, and hospitality.
Prior to joining VCL Group, Atul served as the Head of HR for Railways and Emerging Business at KEC International Ltd. for nearly 4.5 years, where he was responsible for overseeing HR operations and aligning human capital strategies with the business needs of the company’s Railways and Emerging Business divisions.
Before his tenure at KEC International, Atul held the role of Assistant Vice President Human Resources at Avaada Group for almost 2 years, focusing on HR operations and strategy for the renewable energy sector. He also led HR functions at Sterling and Wilson, where he was the Head of Human Resources – North Region for 2.5 years, supporting organizational design and employee engagement.
Atul’s earlier roles include serving as Head of Human Resources at Hilton for 1.5 years and Regional Human Resource Manager at Accor for nearly 4 years, where he gained extensive experience in managing HR functions for the hospitality industry. His HR journey also includes working as a Human Resource Business Partner at Cairn Energy and Regional Human Resource Manager at Voltas Limited, further enriching his HR leadership experience.
