Pullman, Washington, United States, November 2024 – Ava Droppelman has assumed the position of Vice President of Learning and Development within the Sigma Tau Chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority, marking a new chapter in her leadership journey. In this role, Ava will focus on engaging with new members, guiding them through their initial weeks, and providing support as they integrate into the Kappa Delta sisterhood. She aims to foster a welcoming environment while imparting knowledge and confidence to new members.
Ava’s involvement with Kappa Delta Sorority began earlier this year as the Director of Member Retention, where she organized bonding events that enhanced camaraderie among chapter members. Her dedication to fostering meaningful connections and improving organizational engagement has prepared her for this expanded leadership role.
In addition to her responsibilities within Kappa Delta, Ava has honed her leadership skills in other capacities. As Head Lifeguard at Olympic View Swim Club, Inc., she managed team dynamics, resolved challenges, and ensured the safety and satisfaction of members. Her experience extended to overseeing financial processes and customer interactions, further solidifying her communication and organizational abilities.
During her time at Kennedy Catholic High School, Ava demonstrated her leadership prowess as the Swim Team Captain and Water Polo Team Captain, where she managed team budgets, guided her teammates, and led the water polo team to a second-place finish in the State Championship. These experiences instilled a strong foundation in teamwork, communication, and mentorship.
