London Area, United Kingdom ,January 2026 — Avenga has appointed Clay Van Doren as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant leadership milestone for the global consultancy and technology solutions provider. In his new role, Clay will lead Avenga’s global strategy, operations, and growth agenda as the company accelerates its AI-first transformation journey across industries and markets.
Clay brings more than two decades of international leadership experience across technology services, digital transformation, and large-scale enterprise operations. Prior to joining Avenga, he spent over nine years at Atos, where he most recently served as Group Chief Growth Officer, driving global commercial strategy and expansion initiatives. Alongside this role, he also held the position of Deputy CEO for the Tech Foundations business, contributing to portfolio transformation and operational consolidation.
During his tenure at Atos, Clay held multiple chief executive leadership roles across regions, including CEO for Northern Europe, CEO for Central Europe, and CEO for Northern Europe & Asia Pacific, overseeing multi-billion-euro businesses across more than 15 countries. Earlier, he served as Chief Executive Officer for UK & Ireland, following his role as Chief Operating Officer and Deputy CEO for the same geography, where he focused on large-scale digital delivery, hybrid cloud growth, and operational efficiency.
Before Atos, Clay held senior leadership roles at CSC as Global Lead for Communications, Media and High-Tech, and at BT Group, where he served in multiple executive roles including Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer across global services and major programmes. Earlier in his career, he was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Veritel Corporation, one of the early VoIP providers in the United States, which he successfully scaled and exited. His professional journey also includes experience at Boston Consulting Group.
With deep expertise in scaling global businesses, driving growth, and leading complex digital and technology transformations, Clay’s appointment reflects Avenga’s ambition to strengthen its position as a trusted international consultancy delivering high-impact, AI-driven solutions.
