Pune, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 — Avinash Chintawar has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Business I at Varroc, a leading global automotive components manufacturer. In his new role, he will report to Arjun Jain, Whole Time Director & CEO – Business I, and will lead the Operations Vertical, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, process excellence, and global performance across Varroc’s manufacturing network.
With an illustrious career spanning more than two decades in manufacturing and business leadership, Avinash brings a deep understanding of industrial operations, quality systems, and strategic transformation. His appointment marks a significant milestone in Varroc’s mission to strengthen its operational capabilities and sharpen its competitive edge in the automotive components sector.
Prior to joining Varroc, Avinash served as Managing Director of Bosch Chassis Systems India Pvt. Ltd. and Chairman of Bosch India Foundation, where he spearheaded the growth and transformation of Bosch’s Chassis Systems division with a turnover exceeding ₹35 billion. Over his long and distinguished tenure at Bosch, he also held key leadership positions at Robert Bosch GmbH in Germany and Bosch Limited in India, managing large-scale manufacturing operations, sales, marketing, and engineering functions across multiple geographies.
His earlier career at Bosch included leadership roles as Plant Manager, Vice President – Manufacturing, and Corporate Head of Bosch Manufacturing Systems, where he played a central role in driving lean transformation, quality management, and cross-functional operational excellence. His international assignments in Germany and India gave him a broad perspective on technology integration, automation, and global best practices in production management.
Known for his strategic foresight and people-centric leadership, Avinash’s contributions have been pivotal in fostering high-performance teams and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. At Varroc, he will focus on driving operational excellence, cost optimization, and sustainability, aligning with the company’s long-term growth and innovation agenda.
