Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India, March 2026 — Belden Inc. has announced the appointment of Prasad Prabhakar as Director – People, India. In this role, Prabhakar will partner closely with business and functional leaders to strengthen organizational capability, foster a high-performance and inclusive culture, and support Belden’s next phase of growth and transformation in India.
Sharing his perspective on the new chapter, Prabhakar noted, “In my role, I will be partnering closely with business and functional leaders to strengthen organizational capability, foster a high-performance and inclusive culture, and support this next phase of growth and transformation.” He added that moments like these highlight the strategic role of the People function—not only in enabling execution, but also in shaping culture, leadership, and long-term capability. Over the coming months, his focus will be to listen deeply, understand the context, and work alongside teams to build a strong, aligned, and future-ready organization.
Prior to joining Belden Inc., Prabhakar served as a People Function leader at Philips India, where he was accountable for crafting and leading multiple talent initiatives for the Philips India sub-continent region. Earlier, he was a Partner at TalentMOJO HR Consulting Services, working with business owners, CEOs, and HR leaders on organization transformation, HR transformation, and senior executive hiring.
He has also held leadership roles at Trianz as Director Human Resources, where he was responsible for designing and executing global HR programs to build high-performing and engaged organizations, and earlier at IGATE as Manager – Performance & Careers. His foundational experience includes a long stint at Infosys as Lead – HR (Organization Development), and earlier roles at Ma Foi Management Consultants Ltd as a Consultant – Human Resources.
