Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, January 2026 — Ben Lv has taken on a new leadership role as Managing Director at SGS Malaysia, effective 1 January 2026. In this role, he will oversee the country’s overall business strategy, operational performance, regulatory services portfolio and market expansion across testing, inspection and certification services.
In his current appointment at SGS Malaysia, Ben brings extensive leadership experience across the SGS global network. Prior to this elevation, he served as Director – China Automotive, Microelectronics and North China Connectivity, where he led multi-sector businesses covering automotive homologation, microelectronics, electrical and electronic testing and global market access services, managing large regional P&L portfolios and complex regulatory ecosystems.
Earlier at SGS, Ben held a progression of senior leadership roles including CN International Type Approval Manager, Deputy Director – EE & Automotive, Senior Department Manager, Wireless Services Regional Sales Manager, and North & East China Key Account and Operations Manager, building and scaling high-growth compliance, certification and homologation services across multiple geographies.
He began his professional career in the United Kingdom with KC Performance Ltd, where he developed foundational expertise in marketing, market intelligence and business development.
