New York, United States, September 2024 – Ajay Arya has been appointed as the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) at Mphasis, where he will spearhead the company’s M&A strategy, overseeing the entire process from evaluation and deal sourcing to post-merger integration. Ajay brings with him over two decades of expertise in corporate strategy, development, and deal execution, and he will play a critical role in expanding Mphasis’s growth through strategic acquisitions and partnerships.
Before joining Mphasis, Ajay served as Sr. M&A Advisor at Carrier, where he led deal execution and financial strategy for key transactions. His leadership contributed to the successful execution of high-profile deals that strengthened Carrier’s portfolio in the technology sector.
Prior to Carrier, Ajay held the position of Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions at GeneDx, where he was instrumental in leading the company’s IPO in 2021. He also managed transformative M&A activities and raised capital to fuel the company’s growth initiatives. His contributions helped GeneDx shape its portfolio and execute on key capital raises.
Ajay’s earlier career includes 19 years at L3Harris Technologies, where he held various roles, culminating in his position as Senior Director, Corporate Strategy and Development. In this role, he oversaw major mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures for the $20B aerospace and defense company, managing strategic portfolio activity and business development across global markets.
