stanbul, Türkiye, November 2025 — Enerjisa has announced the appointment of Berrin Yılmaz as Head of People and Culture. In her new role, Berrin will lead the company’s people strategy, culture transformation, leadership development, workforce planning and organizational effectiveness initiatives across Enerjisa’s operations. Her mandate includes strengthening talent pipelines, modernizing HR systems, enhancing employee experience, and supporting business growth through resilient and future-ready people practices.
Prior to this appointment, Berrin most recently served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Sabancı University, where she led strategic HR transformation, employee engagement, leadership development, and organizational capability building aligned with the university’s academic and institutional advancement priorities.
Before this, she worked with Akçansa (a joint venture of Sabancı and HeidelbergCement) as HR Vice General Manager, where she drove HR strategy, workforce planning, HR digitalization, labor relations, and large-scale talent development programs supporting operations and growth across Türkiye.
Earlier, Berrin held the role of HR Director at Sabancı Holding, leading enterprise-wide HR policy development, talent strategy initiatives, senior leadership capability programs, and organizational culture alignment efforts across multiple business verticals.
Before her roles within the Sabancı Group, Berrin served as General Manager at atrain Turkey, establishing and scaling the Turkey office of a global leadership consultancy. She focused on leadership development, executive coaching, assessment and development centers, and new business growth, achieving operational break-even within the first year of launch.
Her earlier experience includes senior leadership positions with Roche Pharmaceuticals, where she led organizational culture transformation resulting in improved engagement and reduced turnover; and HR leadership roles with Eczacıbaşı Baxter and Eczacıbaşı Holding, where she contributed to strategic planning, total quality management, competency-based HR systems and performance models.
This appointment signals Enerjisa’s continued commitment to building a strong people-centered culture, leadership excellence, and strategic workforce capability as the organization advances its mission across Türkiye’s energy sector.
