Houston, Texas, United States, June 2025 – Beth Jez has taken on a new role as Vice President, Energy Storage Human Resources at Wärtsilä, a global leader in smart technologies and complete lifecycle solutions for the energy and marine markets. In her new capacity, Beth will lead the HR strategy for Wärtsilä’s Energy Storage division, aligning talent, performance, wellbeing, and development programs with the company’s decarbonization goals and global expansion.
Beth has been associated with Wärtsilä for over five years, most recently serving as Senior Human Resources Business Partner, where she led strategic workforce planning, executive coaching, and talent initiatives across business units. In her new position as Vice President, she continues to provide strategic HR leadership by interpreting workforce trends and driving impactful HR programs backed by analytics and cultural alignment.
Prior to joining Wärtsilä, Beth worked at HP as Manager, Human Resources, where she provided strategic HR support to 2,700 employees in the Customer Support Americas organization. Over nearly five years, she led major transformation initiatives, including organization redesign, rotational leadership programs, and manager development programs. She played a key role in improving employee engagement scores and aligning reward systems with business goals.
Earlier, Beth spent over 18 years at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, holding various HR leadership positions including Human Resources Business Partner, Programs Manager – Workforce Planning & Staffing, and Manager – University Staffing Programs. Her responsibilities included leading strategic workforce planning, managing global staffing policies, facilitating organizational change, and cultivating university relations across top-tier schools. Her tenure was marked by strong alignment of HR strategies with business transformation initiatives.
Beth began her career as an IT Recruiter and Corporate College Relations Program Manager, where she focused on acquiring diverse talent for Compaq and HP through university partnerships, educational benefits programs, and campus hiring strategies.
