São Paulo, Brazil, September 2025 – Bettysa Dornelas has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer – TEMUSA at TotalEnergies, bringing with her nearly three decades of financial leadership experience across global and regional roles. In this new position, she will play a crucial role in steering the company’s financial strategy, governance, and performance within the Americas.
Bettysa has been with TotalEnergies for the past four years and nine months, where she has contributed to the company’s growth and financial discipline in various capacities. Her elevation to CFO – TEMUSA is a natural progression that reflects her expertise in finance, her leadership in high-performing teams, and her alignment with the organization’s values of innovation and sustainability.
Prior to joining TotalEnergies, Bettysa served at Ultrapar as Head of Finance Department for three years. In this role, she was instrumental in strengthening financial controls, optimizing reporting processes, and supporting business expansion in the highly competitive Brazilian energy sector.
Before that, she worked at Sistema FIRJAN as General Manager, leading key finance and operational functions during a two-year tenure. She also spent over nine years at Natura, where she first served as CFO – Argentina for three years, and later as Business Controller for six years, gaining significant international experience and driving regional financial strategies across Latin America.
Earlier in her career, Bettysa gained valuable experience at Kraft Heinz, Intelig Telecom, and ExxonMobil, where she held roles in financial planning, strategy, and plant-level controllership. Her journey began with internships at White Martins and AIG, where she laid the foundation for her strong financial acumen.
