Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, November 2025 — Bhavna Ganjoo Soans has joined HSBC as the Leadership Talent Acquisition Lead – GCIO & GCOO, Asia & Middle East, and GSC/HTC, marking a significant milestone in her global talent leadership journey. In this strategic role, Bhavna will lead senior-level hiring, succession planning, and leadership pipeline development across multiple regions, aligning talent strategy with HSBC’s digital, operational, and organizational priorities.
In her new role at HSBC, Bhavna will work closely with business leaders across the Global Chief Information Office (GCIO), Global Chief Operating Office (GCOO), and Global Service Centres/HSBC Technology Centres (GSC/HTC). Her mandate focuses on building future-ready leadership capabilities, deepening diversity and inclusion across leadership pipelines, and elevating strategic talent advisory across Asia and the Middle East.
Before joining HSBC, Bhavna served as Vice President & Head of Talent Acquisition – India at State Street, where she led end-to-end strategic hiring for leadership roles across Investment Banking Operations, Technology, and Corporate Functions. During her tenure, she strengthened senior leadership succession pipelines and drove key transformation initiatives in strategic workforce planning.
Previously, Bhavna played a pivotal role at Search Point Management, where she led Talent Acquisition for BFSI leadership roles across India and the Middle East. Her work focused on high-impact executive hiring and business advisory for global financial institutions and regional banking organizations.
Earlier in her career, Bhavna worked as an HR Business Partner at the National Bank of Fujairah (NBF), followed by early foundational HR experience at TVS Electronics. Across these roles, she developed a deep understanding of diverse talent ecosystems, people processes, and organizational culture-building practices.
