Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2024 – Bhupesh Sawantdesai has joined GreenLine Mobility Solutions, backed by Essar, as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In his new role, he will spearhead the HR function, supporting GreenLine’s mission to innovate in green mobility, reduce carbon emissions, and promote sustainable growth.
Bhupesh Sawantdesai brings a wealth of experience to GreenLine Mobility Solutions. Most recently, he served as Senior Director – People Business Partner – Logistics – SCO at DP World from May 2023 to May 2024. In this role, he led HR for all logistics businesses in the Sub Continent Region, driving organizational effectiveness and facilitating change.
Prior to DP World, Bhupesh was Senior Director – Human Resources at ElasticRun from December 2020 to April 2023. He built and led HR practices for ElasticRun, a unicorn startup, focusing on technology, sales, distribution, operations, and business-enabling functions. His leadership was crucial in scaling the organization and creating a strong institutional culture.
Bhupesh also served as Chief Human Resources Officer at DHL eCommerce India LLP from October 2019 to November 2020, where he worked closely with CXOs and global teams to develop HR strategies that supported business growth. Before this, he held various HR leadership roles at Amazon, Nielsen India Pvt. Ltd, DHL Express India, Emerson, and Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd, gaining extensive experience in HR management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
