Bangalore, Karnataka, India, July 2024 – Bhuvaneswar Naik has started his new role as the Vice President and Head of HR for the Components Business at Tata Electronics Pvt. Ltd., marking an exciting new chapter in his professional journey.
Bhuvaneswar Naik brings a wealth of experience in human resources and organizational leadership to his new position at Tata Electronics. Prior to joining Tata Electronics, he served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Lentra, a B2B SaaS fintech company. During his tenure at Lentra, he was instrumental in building the HR function from the ground up, scaling the company globally, and achieving the Great Place to Work certification. His leadership helped the company grow from 350 to 1000 employees and expand its presence from India to five other countries.
Before his impactful role at Lentra, Bhuvaneswar co-founded Deskfactors Inc. and served as the Chief Operating Officer. At Deskfactors, he led operations and co-developed a secure messaging app for businesses, which successfully raised $1 million in seed funding.
Bhuvaneswar’s extensive experience at SAP spans over a decade, where he held several significant roles. As the Vice President HR, Office of the CEO and HR Head, SAP Leonardo, he executed HR strategies and helped establish SAP’s Academy for Engineering in Palo Alto. Earlier, as the Global Head of Talent Management & Development, he spearheaded strategic and tactical talent management initiatives impacting over 100,000 employees worldwide. He also led a global transformation program that disrupted performance management practices, eliminating performance ratings to foster a culture of continuous dialogue.
During his time as the Vice President and Head of Human Resources – India Sub-Continent, Bhuvaneswar achieved numerous recognitions, including SAP’s ranking as the 5th Best Employer by the Great Place to Work Institute. His initiatives in diversity and inclusion earned him the “Diversity and Inclusion Inspirational Leader” award by NASSCOM. He was also responsible for integrating Sybase, SuccessFactors, and Ariba into SAP in India.
Bhuvaneswar’s career also includes a significant stint at Capgemini as the Vice President – People Processes, Asia Pacific, where he managed HR functions and executed a major Reduction-in-Force program. At Yahoo, he served as the Director & Country Manager HR, overseeing HR functions for Yahoo! India.
Earlier in his career, Bhuvaneswar held leadership roles at SE Technologies and Taj Hotels, where he focused on HR management and organizational development.
