Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, June 2025 – Havells India Ltd has announced the appointment of Bhuwnesh Singh Chauhan as Vice President Human Resources. In his new role, Bhuwnesh is a key member of the leadership team, steering the company towards its next phase of growth. He is responsible for leading HR, IR, Admin, and EHS functions across multiple manufacturing operations, partnering with the business to design and implement people and talent strategies that align with core objectives in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Packaging. He is also committed to driving transformation through compliance, workforce effectiveness, digital HR solutions, and ESG integration, aiming to cultivate a future-ready and engaged workforce at Havells India Ltd.
Before joining Havells, Bhuwnesh served as Chief HR Officer at Montage Enterprises, Inc, South Asia’s largest flexible packaging company. Over nearly two years, he led HR and employee relations at the group level, overseeing people processes for all business and corporate functions, supporting a workforce of over 7,000. His efforts were instrumental in aligning talent strategies with business needs and driving transformation in HR practices to support Montage’s continued growth.
Prior to Montage, Bhuwnesh was Chief General Manager – Human Resources at Escorts Kubota Limited, where he played a pivotal role in change management, inclusivity, conflict resolution, and skill development. He contributed significantly to driving employee engagement and operational effectiveness, supporting organizational transformation during his tenure. Earlier, he was Head of Human Resource & Employee Relations at Suzuki Motor Gujarat Private Limited, India’s largest car manufacturer, where he led a 10,000+ workforce, driving the business and people agenda, HR strategy, workforce planning, talent management, and major change initiatives.
Bhuwnesh’s earlier leadership journey includes a decade-long stint at LG Electronics in varied senior HR roles, culminating as Head of HR & MS at the Noida plant and Corporate HR Head (AGM – HR & MS). Here, he built and executed recruitment strategies, talent management, succession planning, reward programs, and organization development initiatives, supporting high-performing teams and employee engagement across the business. He also gained formative experience at Moser Baer India Ltd, holding HR and administrative responsibilities early in his career.
Throughout his career, Bhuwnesh has been known for his strengths in HR strategy, transformation, change management, labor relations, conflict resolution, and the development of high-performing teams. He has demonstrated a strong ability to align people processes with business needs, drive workforce productivity, and foster cultures of inclusivity and operational excellence across leading Indian and multinational organizations.
