With over two decades of experience in human resources and organizational development, Bianca is set to lead the people and culture strategy for the organization, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, and HR transformation.
Bianca Williamson has been with Corus Entertainment for approximately 8 years and 4 months. In her new role as Senior Vice President, People and Culture, she will continue to build on her expertise in career development, strategic human resource planning, and executive coaching to drive the company’s HR initiatives forward.
Prior to this promotion, Bianca served as Vice President, People and Culture for around 3 years and 11 months, where she led various HR transformation projects and enhanced the company’s compensation and benefits strategies. Before that, she was the Director, People and Culture for approximately 8 years and 4 months, focusing on executive coaching and critical thinking to improve HR practices.
Before joining Corus Entertainment, Bianca worked at Shaw Communications as Director, Human Resources for about 5 years and 6 months, where she was instrumental in strategic HR planning and compensation management. She also held the position of Director, Human Resources at Canwest for around 8 years and 7 months, and Human Resources Manager at National Post, Inc. for approximately 1 year and 1 month.
Bianca’s early career includes roles as Human Resources Advisor at Rider-BTI Canada for about 4 years and 2 months, and HR/Finance Assistant at Consumers Glass for around 1 year.
