Hyderabad, Telangana, India, September 2024 – Sudipto Mandal has taken on the role of CHRO & Head – Human Resources (L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad) at Larsen & Toubro. In this position, Sudipto will oversee the entire HR function, driving people strategies and organizational development for L&T Metro Rail. As a member of the Leadership Team, he will report directly to the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer.
Before his current appointment, Sudipto was Head of Human Resources – Group Strategic HR Initiatives at Larsen & Toubro, where he led impactful HR strategies across 20 group companies to create a future-ready organization aligned with L&T’s growth objectives.
Prior to that, he was a Partner at PeopleSquare Human Resources Consulting, responsible for driving growth strategies in HR advisory and consulting across South Asia and Southeast Asia markets.
Sudipto also served as Vice President and CHRO – HR & Admin at Star Cement Ltd., where he headed the HR, IR, and Admin functions for the organization, leading a team of 40 HR professionals overseeing 3,000 employees.
His earlier experiences include key leadership roles at ZEISS Group, Spencer’s Retail, and Asian Paints, where he developed and executed HR strategies, led transformation projects, and strengthened organizational capabilities across diverse sectors.
