Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, September 2024 – Stephanie Gillies has taken on the role of Co-CHRO of Asia Pacific and CHRO of Asia Oceania at Accenture. In this capacity, Stephanie will oversee human resources for Accenture’s Asia Pacific region, focusing on hiring, onboarding, training, rewards, benefits, and overall talent strategy to enhance Accenture’s workforce in the region. She will collaborate closely with leadership to drive HR initiatives, culture development, and talent management, ensuring a cohesive strategy aligned with business goals.
Prior to her new appointment, Stephanie served as Managing Director – Growth Markets HR Service Delivery Lead at Accenture, where she successfully led HR operations for growth markets across multiple regions, ensuring operational excellence and talent strategies for sustained business growth.
Before that, Stephanie held the role of HR Director – Strategy & Consulting HR Business Partner, where she spearheaded talent strategies for the Strategy & Consulting business in Australia and New Zealand, driving HR transformation and creating a people-first culture.
Her leadership experience also includes her role as Global Recruitment Director for Accenture Operations, where she was responsible for overseeing global recruitment strategies for 40,000 hires annually, collaborating with business leaders worldwide to address talent acquisition needs across markets including India, the Philippines, China, and Europe.
Stephanie began her journey at Accenture over 29 years ago and has since held various leadership positions, contributing significantly to talent acquisition, HR strategy, and operations across multiple regions and sectors.
