Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2024 – Capt. Raman Raina has taken on the role of Group CHRO & Head of Global Capability Centre at Foresight Group, a strategic, multi-billion dollar global conglomerate. In this new role, Capt. Raina will be responsible for driving HR initiatives, talent development, and building global capabilities to support the group’s diverse business functions. His leadership will be critical in aligning the workforce strategy with Foresight Group’s long-term business goals.
Before joining Foresight Group, Capt. Raman Raina served as HR Director APAC at Honeywell for 2 years and 9 months. Based in India, he was responsible for overseeing HR operations across the Asia-Pacific region, ensuring the implementation of HR strategies that supported the company’s growth and talent management objectives.
Prior to his role as HR Director, Capt. Raina also held the position of HR Leader India at Honeywell, where he played a key role in managing human resources operations across the country for 2 years and 5 months. His tenure at Honeywell marked a period of significant talent transformation and strategic alignment of HR practices.
Before joining Honeywell, Capt. Raina worked at ANAND Group India for 6 years and 6 months, where he held multiple leadership positions, including Head of HR at Mahle Behr Engineering Service Pune and Deputy General Manager Human Resources at Anand Automotive Ltd. His contributions included leading HR operations and talent development initiatives to support business growth across various divisions of the company.
Earlier in his career, Capt. Raina worked at TRL KROSAKI Refractories Limited (formerly TATA Refractories Limited) as Manager Human Resources for 1 year and 10 months, and he began his professional journey as a Commissioned Officer in the Indian Army (Captain), where he served for 5 years and 10 months. His military experience has provided him with a unique perspective on leadership and strategic planning.
