Singapore, August 2024 – Kimberly-Clark has announced that Bijay Kamath will be assuming new responsibilities as the Vice President of Supply Chain & Operations – Enterprise Markets, overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations for the Personal Care business across South East Asia, India, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.
Prior to this expanded role, Bijay served as the VP of Supply Chain & Operations for Asia-Pacific at Kimberly-Clark for over three years. In this capacity, he was responsible for procurement, planning, manufacturing, engineering, customer service, and logistics across the region, driving operational excellence and efficiency.
Before joining Kimberly-Clark, Bijay was with Mondelēz International for nearly eight years, where he held several key leadership roles. Notably, he served as the Sr. Director of Manufacturing for seven plants in the United States, and as the Sr. Director of Supply Chain Operations for the Asia, Middle East, and Africa regions, where he led integrated supply chain functions for a $2 billion business.
Earlier in his career, Bijay held significant roles at Castrol and Procter & Gamble. At Castrol, he was the Executive Director of Supply Chain for India and the Middle East, where he provided end-to-end supply chain leadership. At Procter & Gamble, his 16-year tenure included roles such as Associate Director of Product Supply and Plant Operations Manager, contributing to the success of various product lines and regions.
