London, England, United Kingdom, July 2025 – Karian L. has been promoted to Global Head of People & Talent at Automata, marking a significant milestone in her 7-year journey with the automation pioneer. In this new role, Karian will lead Automata’s global people strategy, driving transformative HR practices, leadership development, and talent initiatives that fuel innovation across the organization.
Over the past three years, Karian served as Head of People & Talent, where she played a crucial role in scaling HR systems and building a values-driven culture to support the company’s rapid global expansion. Her efforts helped shape critical functions such as total rewards, succession planning, and global compliance.
Prior to that, Karian served as People Lead for over a year and a half, managing onboarding, employee development, and workplace culture. Her earlier role as Talent & People Manager helped establish strong HR operations frameworks and talent strategy foundations during a period of dynamic company growth.
Before joining Automata, Karian gained experience as Talent Acquisition Manager at ROLI, where she contributed to building high-performing creative and technical teams. She also held earlier roles at Next Ventures as a Talent Consultant – DevOps and began her career with a summer internship at DDB UK.
