Stevens Point, Wisconsin, United States, July 2026 — University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point has appointed Shulun C. as Chief Human Resources Officer. In this executive leadership role, Shulun will partner with the university’s leadership team to align human capital strategy with institutional priorities while leading enterprise-wide human resources operations, talent acquisition, total rewards, employee relations, organizational development, leadership development and succession planning.
Shulun brings more than 20 years of global human resources leadership experience across higher education, technology, executive coaching and multinational organizations. Alongside this appointment, Shulun continues to serve as Executive Coach at SCR Coaching & Consulting, where, for more than eight years, Shulun has coached founders, C-suite executives and senior leaders, specializing in executive coaching, leadership development, resilience building and organizational transformation.
In addition, Shulun serves as External Advisory Board Member at Yuan-Ze University, advising the College of Management on curriculum development and strengthening alignment between academic programs and evolving industry requirements. Shulun also previously served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor, teaching graduate-level MBA and Global MBA courses in Strategic Human Resource Management and International Human Resource Management.
Prior to joining the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point, Shulun spent more than six years with Google, progressing through several senior leadership positions including Senior People Consultant Manager | Head of People Consultants, Leadership Coach, and Senior People Consultant | Senior Human Resources Business Partner. During this period, Shulun partnered with executive leadership across the Asia-Pacific region, led large-scale organizational transformation initiatives, supported mergers and acquisitions, guided executive coaching programs and drove people strategy across Cloud, Engineering, Sales and Platform businesses.
Earlier, Shulun built an accomplished career spanning more than 11 years with The Exchange, advancing through multiple leadership roles including Senior Regional Human Resources Manager, Interim Director – CONUS HR Operations Employee Relations, and International/US Human Resources Manager. These roles involved leading large HR teams, supporting geographically dispersed workforces, managing employee relations, driving HR transformation and overseeing strategic human capital initiatives across the United States, the United Kingdom, Norway and the Middle East.
Shulun C. holds a Master of Human Resources Management from Rutgers University, with a focus on HRIS, Human Capital Development, and Labor & Employee Relations.
