In this role, she will oversee financial strategy, operational efficiency, and business transformation, supporting Mulberry’s continued expansion and commitment to sustainability. With extensive experience in financial leadership, corporate governance, and business strategy, Billie is set to bring her expertise to drive profitability and long-term growth for the luxury brand.
Before joining Mulberry England, Billie O’Connor served as CFO – Transition & Integration at Müller UK & Ireland, where she managed financial oversight for business transformation and integration projects. Prior to this, she was Chief Financial Officer for Milk & More, where she played a key role in financial planning, investment strategy, and performance optimization. She also served as Board Advisor at GG Wildlife Experiences Ltd, contributing to business growth and investment strategies.
Earlier, she spent over five years at Selfridges, holding leadership positions such as Digital Finance Director and Director of Finance – Investment & Property Portfolio. During this tenure, she was responsible for capital investments, financial oversight for transformation projects, and digital business expansion. She also led strategic financial planning and governance for Selfridges Group Property, supporting major investments in technology, customer experience, and store development.
Billie’s career also includes senior finance roles at Walgreens Boots Alliance, Alliance Boots, and Esporta Health & Fitness Clubs, where she specialized in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and investment strategy. She has a strong background in financial transformation, digital strategy, and operational leadership across retail, healthcare, and FMCG industries. Her experience in global financial leadership and strategic decision-making positions her as a valuable addition to Mulberry England’s executive team.
