New Delhi, India, December 2024 – Bithal Bhardwaj has been named the new Chief Executive Officer of GRAMAX, a subsidiary of the GMR Group specializing in cybersecurity solutions. Bithal, who previously served as the Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at GMR, brings extensive expertise in cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and infrastructure security.
Over the past five years, Bithal has been instrumental in shaping GMR Group’s cybersecurity strategy, leveraging his leadership to protect critical assets and infrastructure. In his new role as CEO, he will lead GRAMAX in delivering innovative cybersecurity solutions and expanding its footprint as a trusted partner across industries.

Bithal Bhardwaj has over two decades of experience in cybersecurity and IT infrastructure management. At the GMR Group, he served as Group CISO, overseeing cybersecurity programs for critical infrastructure facilities like airports, energy utilities, and manufacturing plants.
Before joining GMR, Bithal held key leadership roles at GE, where he led regional and global cybersecurity initiatives as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for International Regions and South Asia. His tenure at GE included driving strategic cyber programs, developing talent pipelines, and managing cybersecurity for diverse regions, including Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Earlier in his career, Bithal gained valuable experience at companies like Genpact, Tech Mahindra, and Neptune Information Solutions, contributing to IT infrastructure projects and cybersecurity practices.
