Bentonville, Arkansas, United States, January 2026 – Blake Red has stepped into a new role as Director, People Strategy – Digital & Associate Experience at Walmart, joining the Digital & Associate Experience Strategy & PMO team, where he will work closely with senior leadership to drive large-scale people transformation, data-led workforce strategy, and AI-enabled ways of working across Walmart’s associate ecosystem.
In his most recent tenure at Walmart, Blake served as Senior Manager, People Strategy, where he partnered closely with the People Leadership Team to scale enterprise-wide people transformation programs, enable leadership effectiveness, and strengthen digital-first operating models across the organization.
Prior to this, he held the role of Manager, People Operations – Walmart Health, leading workforce operations, associate experience initiatives, and HR transformation programs supporting Walmart’s healthcare business.
Earlier in his career, he spent close to four years at Arvest Bank, progressing through roles as Human Resources Generalist and Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, where he led recruitment transformation, workforce planning, and HR operations initiatives.
His professional foundation also includes earlier roles at Walmart as Senior Recruiting Coordinator, and leadership positions with iNFiNiTi Athletics, Inc. and AT&T, where he built strong operational, customer, and people leadership capabilities.
