Ingelheim am Rhein, Germany, July 2026 — Boehringer Ingelheim has elevated Sabine Reinig to the role of Global Head of Talent, HR Governance and Analytics, marking her return to the company’s Human Resources leadership after a successful assignment leading Global Commercial Excellence within the Animal Health business.
In her new role, Reinig will lead Boehringer Ingelheim’s global talent strategy, HR governance, and people analytics agenda, helping strengthen the organization’s capability to attract, develop, and retain talent while advancing data-driven HR decision-making and governance practices. Her appointment reflects the company’s continued focus on empowering its global workforce with the right capabilities, processes, and insights to support long-term business success.
Reinig brings more than 21 years of leadership experience at Boehringer Ingelheim, having held a broad range of strategic, commercial, operational, and executive leadership positions across multiple international markets. Most recently, she served as Global Head of Commercial Excellence – Animal Health, where she led commercial excellence initiatives in one of the industry’s most competitive and dynamic business environments.
Prior to that, she was Global Strategic Program Lead, Chief of Staff to the Human Pharma Board Member, Head of Commercial Operations, Head of Regions Business Planning and Strategy, Head of Strategy Implementation Europe, Senior Regional Business Manager, General Manager for Finland, Regional Sales Director Germany, Managing Director Peru, and Head of Marketing & Sales Paraguay, among several other leadership roles across Europe and Latin America.
Returning to Human Resources with extensive cross-functional business experience, Reinig brings a unique perspective shaped by leadership across commercial strategy, operations, business planning, and organizational transformation. Her experience is expected to further strengthen Boehringer Ingelheim’s people strategy by aligning talent development, governance, and analytics with evolving business priorities and future workforce needs.
