Bentonville, Arkansas, United States, February 2026 — Walmart has announced the appointment of Brandy Jordan as Vice President, Global Talent Acquisition, marking a significant leadership move as the global retailer continues strengthening its talent strategy and workforce transformation agenda. In this expanded role, Brandy will play a critical part in shaping Walmart’s global hiring architecture, talent pipelines, and employer value proposition to support business growth and long-term capability building.

With nearly two decades at Walmart, Brandy brings deep expertise across people leadership, transformation, learning, talent development, HR technology modernization, and global associate experience. Her appointment underscores Walmart’s focus on building a future-ready talent engine at scale.

Brandy Jordan started her new role as VP, Global Talent Acquisition at Walmart in October 2025, based in Bentonville, Arkansas (United States). After serving in several senior roles across Walmart’s global people organization, she now takes on a broader enterprise mandate to elevate talent acquisition capabilities worldwide.

Immediately prior to this appointment, Brandy served as VP, People – Walmart International for about two years, where she led the transformation of global associate experience for Walmart’s private brand sourcing business across 23 countries. In this role, she oversaw a team of 40 (including 7 direct reports) and supported approximately 3,000 associates through global Centers of Excellence spanning Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and People Tech & Operations. She also served as Interim Chief People Officer for Walmart International for six months, advising the CEO and global CPO, representing HR in executive forums, and supporting key markets including South Africa and Massmart. Her work included modernization of systems and processes and implementation of enterprise platforms such as Workday and ADP, alongside redesigning the global organizational model around category-based teams.

Before that, she was promoted to Group Director People – Walmart International for nearly two years, leading Walmart International’s 4,000-person HR organization, supporting 7 core businesses and 550,000 employees across 20+ countries. She managed a core leadership team of 10 (with 5 direct reports) overseeing L&D, People Tech & Data, Transformation, and People Partnering, while advising the International CEO and executive leadership team on people strategy and organizational design. During this period, she restructured the team into four focused functions, built early global workforce mapping tools, aligned long-range planning with budgeting, revitalized learning culture, launched high-potential talent development programs, and upgraded the Associate Experience Service (AES) with feedback, wellness, and self-service tools.

Earlier in her career, Brandy built her HR foundation in multi-functional leadership roles outside Walmart as well. She spent about two and a half years with Fuddruckers as Senior Human Resources Manager, where she led the HR function end-to-end, including recruitment, employee relations, HRIS, risk management, and organizational development, shaping her strengths in change leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

She also spent nearly three years with American Achievement Corporation (Balfour & Co) as Recruiting Supervisor, where she managed end-to-end recruiting—from job description creation through offer and onboarding—developing strong early expertise in structured hiring and talent process execution.
