Hartford, Connecticut, United States, July 2024 – Briana Wolff has taken on the role of Vice President – HR Ops, Tech, Data & Analytics at The Hartford. In this position, Briana will lead the HR Operations, Technology, Data, and Analytics teams, driving innovative HR strategies and solutions to enhance productivity and business outcomes.
Briana Wolff has been with The Hartford for over ten years, most recently serving as the AVP – HR Data & Analytics. In this role, she developed and owned the Human Resources Data & Analytics strategy, enabling data-driven insights into key HR areas such as recruiting, employee engagement, diversity, equity, & inclusion, talent management, compensation, succession planning, and retention. Briana led a diverse team responsible for people analytics and insights, HR reporting, cloud infrastructure, data management, protection, governance, and business intelligence.
Before her AVP role, Briana was the Director of Business Intelligence – HR Data & Analytics. She managed a team of Data Analysts and Engineers responsible for developing data and analytical solutions to support decision-making processes for the Human Resources organization, Executive Leadership Team, and various business areas. She also served as Product Owner for an agile team focused on building data assets, including the technical design of a cloud-based data mart.
Earlier in her career at The Hartford, Briana held the position of Senior Business Intelligence Team Lead – HR Data & Analytics, where she supported the enterprise implementation of Workday, including the introduction of a Cloud environment and the development of consumption layer and data model in Snowflake. She established a dashboard and data design framework, transitioning the HR organization from manual Excel-based reporting to Tableau visualizations.
Prior to these roles, Briana served in various capacities within The Hartford, including Senior Business Intelligence Team Lead – Commercial Lines, Senior Business Intelligence Consultant – Commercial Lines, and as a participant in the Technology & Data Leadership Development Program. She developed technical and leadership skills through rotations within Operations & Technology Strategy, Enterprise Process Improvement, Personal Lines Digital, Workforce Management, and Claims Operational Analytics.
