Pune, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 – Brijendra Singh has joined Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited as Executive Vice President, marking a new chapter in a distinguished career that spans over four decades in the Indian pharmaceutical industry. In this new role, he will bring his rich legacy of sales leadership, business strategy, and therapeutic portfolio expansion to one of India’s fastest-growing pharmaceutical companies.
Before joining Emcure, Brijendra Singh spent over 39 years at Lupin, where he rose through the ranks from a Medical Sales Representative to Vertical Head and Senior Vice President – Sales and Marketing. In his most recent role, he led the Diabetes, Cardio-Diabetes, and Ophthalmology vertical, managing a ₹800+ crore business and leading a team of more than 1,000 pharmaceutical professionals. His strategic vision helped establish Lupin as a leader in chronic therapy segments.
Prior to this, he served as Deputy General Manager of Sales in Lupin’s Pinnacle Division (Cardiology) and earlier as Deputy General Manager of Sales – Diabetes Care Division, where he was instrumental in launching the division that went on to become Lupin’s top performer in terms of sales. He also served as National Sales Manager, playing a pivotal role in making Lupin a formidable name in the Indian Diabetes therapy market.
His earlier leadership roles at Lupin included Regional Sales Manager for the Pinnacle Division, Area Manager in the Greater Allahabad Area, and multiple tenures across North India where he built strong sales teams and nurtured high-performing regions. He began his career as a Medical Sales Representative at Montari Laboratories, a Ranbaxy subsidiary, in 1984.
