Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, February 2026 — Britannia Industries Limited has appointed Puneet Das as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective February 16, 2026, marking a significant leadership transition at one of India’s largest FMCG companies.
Puneet brings over two decades of marketing and business leadership experience across food, beverages, nutrition, and consumer categories. In his new role at Britannia Industries Limited, he will lead the company’s marketing strategy, brand building, portfolio innovation, and category expansion as Britannia continues its journey toward becoming a Global Total Foods Company.
Prior to this appointment, Puneet served as President – Packaged Beverages, India & South Asia at Tata Consumer Products, where he drove growth strategy, P&L outcomes, and category leadership across India and Bangladesh. He previously held the role of Senior Vice President Marketing – Beverages India, and earlier Vice President Marketing – India at Tata Global Beverages, leading the Tetley and Tata Tea portfolios and managing large-scale tea category businesses valued at over USD 500 million.
Earlier in his career, Puneet held senior leadership positions at Ola, GSK Consumer Healthcare, PepsiCo, Marico Limited, and Gillette, where he led flagship brands including Horlicks and Boost, drove global category expansion in Africa, and managed P&L for premium and nutrition portfolios across multiple geographies.
Puneet holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from XLRI Jamshedpur, equipping him with a strong foundation in strategic brand and business leadership.
