Brittany Y. Appointed as Director Staff Talent Development at National Geographic Society

Washington, District of Columbia, United States, December 2025 – Brittany Y. has started a new position as Director Staff Talent Development at the National Geographic Society, where she will lead enterprise-wide learning, leadership development, and workforce capability initiatives to strengthen organisational effectiveness and mission impact.

In her current role at the National Geographic Society, Brittany brings nearly four years of progressive leadership, most recently serving as Senior Manager, Talent Development, where she built integrated leadership pipelines, enterprise learning frameworks and capability development strategies supporting diverse global teams.

Prior to joining National Geographic, Brittany served as Program Manager & Executive Consultant, Human Capital Solutions at LMI, where she led federal and public sector workforce transformation programs, organisational redesign, leadership development and strategic workforce planning initiatives.

She earlier worked as Senior Strategic Human Capital Consultant at Strategy Consulting Team, LLC, advising government agencies and large institutions on talent strategy, change management and organisational performance improvement.

Before that, Brittany held multiple leadership consulting roles at LMI, including Project Leader, Human Capital Consultant, Strategy and Operations Management, driving workforce modernization, operating model redesign and leadership capability programs.

Brittany also served with the U.S. Department of State as Program Coordinator for the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, supporting global education exchange programs, and began her career in the United States Air Force as a Personnel Program Manager, building strong foundations in leadership, workforce planning and talent operations.
