Dhaka, Bangladesh, September 2025 – Bulbul Islam has joined CF Global as the Vice President – Global Human Resources and Administration, taking charge of the company’s people and workplace strategies across 11 countries. Based at the firm’s corporate headquarters in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, Bulbul brings two decades of experience in building strategic HR frameworks, aligning organizational culture with business performance, and driving digital transformation in human capital management.
Prior to joining CF Global, Bulbul Islam served as Head of Rewards at Banglalink for over six years, where he led the development of performance-driven total rewards strategies, executed digital HR transformations through Oracle HCM, and launched innovative engagement platforms like “Recognize.” He also spearheaded AI-powered HR analytics, strengthened HR compliance, and introduced long-term benefit schemes, all contributing to stronger employee motivation and retention.
Before that, Bulbul worked at A.P. Moller – Maersk as Head HR – Bangladesh, overseeing HR operations, industrial relations, talent development, and change management at DAMCO. He drove double-digit growth by aligning HR strategy with business goals and improved diversity metrics through strategic inclusion efforts.
He spent more than a decade at Nestlé Bangladesh Ltd., progressing through several leadership roles. As HR Manager – Reward and HRBP for Finance & Corporate Affairs, he managed global-aligned total rewards programs, led digital HR upgrades, and championed workforce development initiatives. Earlier, he served as HRBP for Sales & Nutrition, reducing attrition, building succession pipelines, and launching talent development programs like SPARKZ. He began his journey at Nestlé in factory HR, where he implemented high-impact engagement, compliance, and skills development programs.
Bulbul also held earlier roles at Navana Group and completed an internship with British American Tobacco Bangladesh, laying a strong foundation in HR systems, employee welfare, and compliance. He holds an MBA in Human Resources from North South University.
