Istanbul, Türkiye, October 2025 – Burcu Salıngan Çilingir has been appointed as Chief People and Transformation Officer at Doğanlar Mobilya Grubu. In this strategic role, she will lead the Group’s people agenda and transformation initiatives, bringing together her deep expertise in HR leadership, cultural integration, and organizational change to support the company’s growth across 45 countries and more than 700 sales points.
Burcu most recently served as a Partner at DeBa Ventures, where she supported visionary early-stage tech startups and their founders globally. Prior to that, she was the Chief People Officer at VavaCars, where she redesigned HR processes, launched new learning and development platforms, implemented talent acquisition strategies, and prioritized employee experience and well-being to drive organizational performance.
Earlier, she was the Chief Human Resources Officer at iyzico, a role in which she led HR transformation during its integration with Naspers and PayU Global. She harmonized policies, systems, and cultures post-merger, designed compensation and benefits frameworks, and developed strong pipelines for technology talent.
Before that, Burcu held senior HR leadership roles at Hepsiburada, overseeing HR programs for more than 1,000 employees across technology, logistics, and commercial functions, and at IBM Global Services, where she served as Senior HR Partner, managing HR operations and talent development for over 430 employees. Her career began with early roles at Avon and Amrop International.
With more than two decades of HR and leadership experience across technology, retail, and financial services, Burcu brings a rich blend of strategic and operational expertise to her new role at Doğanlar Mobilya Grubu.
