Johnston, Rhode Island, USA, May 2024 – Carmelina Borsellino has been promoted to the position of Chief Learning Officer at FM Global. With over 11 years of dedicated service at FM Global, Carmelina has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic vision in various roles, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and success.
Carmelina’s most recent role was as Vice President, Chief Engineer from January 2018 to May 2024. In this position, she was responsible for ensuring that FM Global’s loss prevention solutions were cost-effective and reliably addressed the most critical property-related risks impacting clients’ business continuity. She oversaw a large team of subject matter experts in key hazards such as fire, boiler and machinery, cyber, specialty industries, and climate and structural resilience.
Before that, she served as Manager Cyber Hazards from May 2016 to May 2024. In this role, Carmelina led efforts to identify and mitigate cyber hazards, providing clients with strategies to protect their assets from cyber threats and ensuring the security and resilience of their operations.
From May 2013 to May 2024, Carmelina held the role of Business Process Improvement Specialist. She focused on enhancing business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. Her work involved analyzing current practices, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that optimized performance.
Carmelina has held various other positions within FM Global, demonstrating her versatility and dedication to the company’s mission. Her previous roles include Group Manager, where she managed teams and projects that contributed to FM Global’s overall success.
