Before this, she held senior HR leadership roles at Vertellus, where she served as Vice President Human Resources, Global Human Resources Director, and European Human Resources Director. During this tenure, she led global HR initiatives, reinforced cultural alignment across geographies, and implemented strategic programs to enhance employee engagement and organizational performance.

Earlier in her career, Bate was HR Manager at Adient and Johnson Controls, where she led high-performance talent development, organizational change, and engagement strategies, including strong collaboration with trade unions and senior leadership teams. She began her professional journey with Alfred McAlpine on a commercial and operational management scheme with an HR focus.

With this extensive experience spanning industrial, automotive, and specialty materials sectors, Bate is poised to lead Aurorium’s people function with resilience, vision, and strategic impact, helping the company deliver on its mission of enabling life-improving products worldwide.
