United States, February 2026 — Emily Rodriguez has stepped into the role of Global Vice President – Human Resources, Lifestyle at Hyatt, marking a significant advancement in her distinguished 23-year journey with the organization.

In her new global role, Emily will lead human resources strategy for Hyatt’s Lifestyle portfolio, focusing on aligning people strategy with brand growth, operational excellence, and colleague engagement across markets. She will oversee global HR frameworks designed to support evolving business priorities while strengthening Hyatt’s culture-driven approach to hospitality.

Most recently, Emily served as Vice President Human Resources at Hyatt, where she led a team of regional HR leaders driving people strategy across multiple business units. She supported over 200 hotels and 42,000 colleagues across the Americas, advising senior leadership on complex HR challenges and leading crisis response initiatives. A pioneer in Hyatt’s adoption of agile methodologies, she established the company’s first fully dedicated regional agile team, embedding agility into strategic planning and execution at both regional and property levels. She also served as HR lead for large-scale M&A activities, including entity and management agreement transitions and organizational design for newly formed brand-led business units.

Prior to that, Emily was Regional Vice President Human Resources at Hyatt, partnering with senior field operations leaders to support escalated colleague matters, drive strategic HR adoption, and lead cross-functional HR operations across more than 60 hotels in the U.S. and Canada. She built high-performing HR teams that delivered people-centered solutions enhancing service, financial performance, and engagement.

With over two decades of progressive HR leadership within Hyatt, Emily Rodriguez brings deep expertise in global workforce strategy, organizational design, agile transformation, crisis leadership, and large-scale operational HR management to her expanded global mandate.
