Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, February 2026 — Sudhir Ghule has taken on the role of Chief Operating Officer at Sakar Healthcare, further strengthening the company’s leadership as it advances its manufacturing and global pharmaceutical operations.
In his new position, Sudhir will oversee end-to-end operational strategy, technical operations, manufacturing excellence, regulatory compliance, and supply chain performance. Based in Ahmedabad, he will play a pivotal role in scaling Sakar Healthcare’s production capabilities and driving operational efficiency across its state-of-the-art facilities.
Prior to joining Sakar Healthcare, Sudhir served as Senior Vice President – Head of Technical Operations at Zydus Life Sciences, where he led technical operations for several years, managing large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing functions and regulatory compliance. Before that, he was Senior Director – Technical Services at Cipla, where he was responsible for technical operations at the Kurkumbh and Satara locations. During his tenure, he successfully handled multiple USFDA inspections, led brownfield capacity expansion projects, launched new products in the US and other regulated markets, filed several ANDAs, and initiated digitization and automation initiatives to build robust manufacturing processes.
Earlier in his career, Sudhir held senior operational roles at Lupin, where he was involved in the erection and commissioning of a greenfield project and installed Lupin’s first inhaler manufacturing facility (MDIs and DPIs). He also served as Plant Manager at SUN PHARMA and Sigma Laboratories Ltd, managing sterile and OSD facilities, including handling international regulatory inspections. His professional journey began with leadership roles in production and operations at Micro Lab and Ipca Laboratories Limited.
With over three decades of experience across pharmaceutical manufacturing, regulatory inspections, technical operations, capacity expansion, and global product launches, Sudhir Ghule brings deep operational expertise and industry leadership to Sakar Healthcare.
