Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, March 2025 – César Alberto Bersoza Hernández has joined Libbey as Sr. Director Human Resources for Latin America. In this leadership role, he is responsible for spearheading regional HR strategies, driving organizational effectiveness, fostering employee engagement, and aligning HR operations with business goals across Latin America.
Prior to joining Libbey, César served at Danfoss for over two years, where he held progressive roles including Human Resources Director and Latin America Compensation and Benefits Interim. He led strategic initiatives across Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Argentina, with a focus on labor relations, talent management, and compensation frameworks supporting a 1,500+ workforce.

Before Danfoss, he was Head of People Operations at Proper, where he collaborated closely with the executive leadership team to enhance employee experience, retention, and organizational performance. His role was key in driving strategic HR planning during a growth phase for the company.
Earlier in his career, César held the position of Human Resources Director – Ops Business Partner at Celestica for over five years, managing HR for a site with 1,700+ employees and aligning initiatives with global centers of excellence. He previously worked at Embraco, where he led HR and Communications across North America, and held HR leadership roles at Grupo Lamosa and Nemak, focusing on succession planning, talent development, and organizational design.
