Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, December 2025 — Mirchi has appointed Chandan Das as Vice President & Business Director, entrusting him with end-to-end P&L ownership across five radio stations in Karnataka. In this role, Chandan will lead Mirchi’s growth agenda across content, digital monetisation, MPing (Mirchi’s data-led digital audio and video monetisation platform), social ecosystems, brand partnerships, and experiential activations.
In his new mandate, Chandan Das is focused on driving platform-led, integrated growth by building scalable solutions at the intersection of content, commerce, and communities. His approach emphasizes data-driven decision-making, consumer insight, cross-platform monetisation, and long-term partner value creation—key pillars guiding Mirchi’s evolution as a multimedia and experiential brand.
Prior to joining Mirchi, Chandan Das served as Director – Digital & TV Revenue Generation (South) at JioStar, where he led monetisation of marquee assets across television and OTT platforms, including high-impact properties and regular inventory. During this phase, he was elevated to the Director role, reflecting his leadership in driving revenue performance and building high-calibre teams aligned to client needs.
Before JioStar, Chandan spent over a decade with Disney Star, holding progressive leadership roles including Region Head – South, Regional Head, and Group Head, managing large advertising portfolios across South and East India. His responsibilities spanned regional and genre-based leadership across Hindi GECs, regional channels, and movie genres, overseeing significant revenue mandates and building strong client and agency partnerships.
Earlier in his career, Chandan Das built a strong foundation in media sales and client solutions through roles at HT Media Ltd., Info Edge India Ltd., and early management trainee assignments. Across these roles, he developed deep expertise in advertising sales, client servicing, solution-led selling, and regional market development—capabilities that continue to shape his leadership approach today.
