Hyderabad, Telangana, India, February 2026 – Chandan Kumar Thakur has been promoted to Senior Vice President – Marketing at Vassar Labs, an AI-powered climate tech company driving data-led transformation in water, agriculture, and climate resilience.
Over the past two years, Chandan has served as Vice President – Marketing at Vassar Labs, where he led strategic positioning, institutional partnerships, global outreach, and narrative building around the company’s AI platforms including fieldWISE and allied climate intelligence solutions. As Marketing Head, he drove global marketing strategy for AI-powered SaaS and IT solutions, strengthened brand positioning, accelerated revenue growth, and built high-converting demand generation engines using ABM, content, SEO, PPC, and programmatic channels. He also spearheaded enterprise and B2G campaigns, cultivated partnerships with institutions such as the World Bank, ADB, and UNDP, and elevated thought leadership through executive branding and high-impact PR.
Prior to this, Chandan served as Director of Marketing and Business Development at Odyssey Wonder, where for over a decade he led end-to-end marketing strategy, brand transformation, and revenue growth across B2B, B2C, and B2G sectors. His work spanned SaaS product marketing, AI-driven marketing frameworks, ATL and BTL strategies, marketing automation advisory, and large-scale public sector engagement initiatives.
Earlier in his career, he worked as Senior Executive at Tata AutoComp Systems Ltd, focusing on international sales and business development, building strong foundations in media relations and customer requirements management.
In his expanded role as Senior Vice President – Marketing, Chandan will focus on scaling global market strategy, deepening stakeholder engagement across governments, multilaterals, and enterprises, and strengthening Vassar Labs’ positioning as a category-defining climate intelligence company.
