Previously serving as Zepto’s Chief Brand Officer, Chandan’s new appointment underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its organizational culture amid rapid scaling. His leadership will play a pivotal role in aligning Zepto’s culture with its ambitious growth objectives, fostering a cohesive and dynamic work environment to support the company’s fast-paced expansion.
Chandan joined Zepto as its Chief Brand Officer, where he drove impactful brand marketing strategies and initiatives. Under his leadership, Zepto established a strong brand presence in India’s e-grocery market, contributing significantly to its rapid growth and recognition.
Prior to Zepto, Chandan held key leadership roles at Zomato, including Global Sales Head – Dining and Head of Sales – Online Ordering. During his tenure, he successfully led large, cross-cultural teams across multiple geographies, spearheaded innovative campaigns, and introduced transformative initiatives such as Zomato Gold (now Pro) and Feeding India, which distributed over 60 million meals during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Chandan’s career also includes leadership positions at GoFro.com, where he launched scalable growth programs for a nationwide advisor network, and Futures First, where he managed marketing, training, and talent acquisition across multiple regions.
