Chicago, Illinois, United States, August 2024 – Charlie Johnson has recently taken on the role of Director of People, Culture, & Communications for United States & Canada at Global Critical Logistics (GCL). In this position, Charlie will be instrumental in driving the company’s HR strategies, fostering a strong workplace culture, and enhancing internal communications across North America.
Before joining GCL, Charlie held various roles at Tegus, where they served as Interim Global Head of People and Global Manager, People Business Partners. During their tenure, Charlie was responsible for leading people operations and partnering with global teams to drive organizational effectiveness.
Prior to Tegus, Charlie was a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Children’s Institute, where they led HR initiatives to support the organization’s growth and employee engagement efforts.
Earlier in their career, Charlie gained valuable experience as an HR Director/Employee Relations Manager at American Express, where they focused on HR processes, labor law compliance, and employee relations management.
