Singapore – Chitralekha Singh has recently been appointed as the Principal of Talent and Skills Transformation at Mercer Asia. This significant promotion reflects her extensive background and deep commitment to reshaping talent management strategies across the region.

Singh’s career at Mercer Asia spans over two and a half years, during which she has rapidly ascended through the ranks, previously serving as Associate Principal in both Future of Work and Skills and M&A Advisory Services. Her work has been instrumental in developing talent strategies and competency frameworks that align with the evolving needs of the workforce.
Prior to joining Mercer, Singh held a pivotal role at Standard Chartered Bank as Director, Global Lead, Talent Management. There, she led initiatives across global talent identification, succession management, and data analytics, contributing significantly to the bank’s cultural transformation and capability development. Her tenure at Standard Chartered was marked by innovative leadership in talent management for the bank’s Private Banking and Wealth Management sectors and a short-term strategic assignment that honed her skills in leadership and program management.
Before her impactful role at Standard Chartered, Singh worked for a significant time with Mercer India.
Earlier, She also managed various plant HR and talent management coe roles at Reliance Industries Limited, where she engaged in comprehensive HR transformation projects, including talent reviews, succession planning, and industrial relations.
