Muscat, Oman, February 2025 – Takaful Oman Insurance S.A.O.G has announced the appointment of Ismail AlIsmaili as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). With nearly four years at Takaful Oman, Ismail has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s HR strategy, focusing on talent management, organizational development, and procurement functions.
Ismail AlIsmaili has been with Takaful Oman Insurance S.A.O.G for almost four years, holding key leadership roles such as Assistant General Manager – Head of HR, Admin & Procurement. His tenure has been marked by driving workforce strategy, enhancing HR processes, and leading organizational transformation to support the company’s growth and objectives.
Before joining Takaful Oman, he was Assistant Vice President – HR Business Partner at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), where he was responsible for HR operations, talent acquisition, and employee relations across Oman. His expertise in banking and financial services HR strategy helped drive business-aligned human capital initiatives.
His earlier career includes a Senior HR Manager role at AXA Gulf, overseeing HR strategy, leadership development, and performance management. Before that, he worked at National Life & General Insurance Company SAOC as an HR Supervisor, where he led employee engagement and HR operations.
Beyond his corporate roles, Ismail has actively contributed to the HR community, serving as the HR Community Chairman at the Oman American Business Council (OABC), facilitating collaborations between HR professionals across industries. He also served as a Part-Time Lecturer at Arab Open University, teaching courses on entrepreneurship, communication skills, and management practices.
