New York, United States, February 2026 — Chongwu Du has started a new role as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Securitize, where he will lead the company’s strategic direction as it expands its leadership in real-world asset tokenization and institutional blockchain finance. His appointment comes as Securitize continues to scale its on-chain asset platform and deepen partnerships with global financial institutions.
Prior to his appointment, Chongwu Du served as Head of Strategy and earlier as Chief of Staff at Securitize, contributing to the company’s rapid growth and strategic execution across its regulated digital asset ecosystem. His work supported executive leadership in scaling operations and strengthening Securitize’s institutional positioning.
Earlier, he was an Accelerator Manager at Cypher Accelerator, a Wharton-backed accelerator supporting global blockchain and crypto founders, where he led mentorship initiatives and supported early-stage ventures. He also held MBA associate roles with Hyperlane, focusing on cross-chain interoperability, and Avanta Ventures, working on fintech and insurtech investments. His earlier experience includes growth equity investing at H Capital, co-founding Yaso Tangbao, and serving as a Quantitative Investment Analyst at J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
Chongwu Du earned his MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from The Wharton School, where he also served as a teaching assistant for a course on blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
