Hartford, Connecticut, United States March 2025 – Christina Carreiro has been appointed as Vice President Human Resources for Middle Market & National Property at Travelers, where she will lead strategic HR initiatives to support talent management, leadership development, and organizational growth across the division. With an extensive background in HR business partnership, operations, and workforce planning, she will play a key role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
Christina has been with Travelers for 13 years, most recently serving as Vice President, Human Resources for Enterprise Operations. In this role, she led the development and execution of HR programs and policies, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth strategies while fostering a culture of innovation and employee engagement.
Before that, Christina was Assistant Vice President, Human Resources for Personal Insurance Operations, where she spearheaded HR initiatives to drive talent acquisition, workforce planning, and employee engagement across the personal insurance division. She was instrumental in enhancing operational efficiencies and optimizing HR programs to meet the evolving needs of the business.
Earlier in her career at Travelers, Christina held roles such as 2nd Vice President, Human Resources – Middle Market and Large Account Operations and Director of Human Resources. In these capacities, she focused on HR strategy development, business operations support, and workforce transformation, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and talent retention.
Before joining Travelers, Christina held key HR leadership roles at Legrand North America, Marriott Hartford Downtown, and People’s Bank, where she built a strong foundation in HR operations, employee relations, and talent development.
