Portland, Oregon – The Oregon Symphony, Portland’s premier performing arts organization, has announced the appointment of Christine Hays as its new Human Resources Director.
Christine brings a wealth of experience and expertise in human resources management to the organization.
With a solid background spanning over 14 years in various HR leadership roles, Christine has amassed a comprehensive skill set that includes HR strategy, organizational effectiveness, employee benefits design, labor and employment law, and talent management, among others. Her career in human resources began at PacifiCorp, where she served as a Senior Human Resources Coordinator, laying the foundation for her HR expertise.
Christine’s journey in HR management saw her taking on increasing responsibilities at Retail Imaging Management Group, LLC, The Art Institute of Portland, Opus Events Agency, and most notably, a 10-year tenure at Albertina Kerr Centers. As HR Director at Albertina Kerr Centers, she was responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations and providing strategic HR leadership, significantly contributing to the agency’s growth and success.
As the oldest American orchestra west of the Mississippi, the Oregon Symphony prides itself on its rich history and commitment to delivering exceptional orchestral music.
